No Kings Day!! Mass Mobilization

  • Upper San Lorenzo Park 137 Dakota Avenue Santa Cruz, CA, 95060 United States (map)

Santa Cruz March Details

Join us at 10am for a short rally at Upper San Lorenzo Park (Duck Pond Stage). We will then march from the park on the sidewalk on Dakota Ave. to Soquel Ave. and then up Ocean St. to the Santa Cruz County building.

In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings. NO KINGS is a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption from Trump and his allies. We’ve watched as they’ve cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political views, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts. They’ve done this all while continuing to serve and enrich their billionaire allies.

🚨On Saturday, June 14, we’re taking to the streets nationwide. We’re not gathering to feed his ego. We’re building a movement that leaves him behind.🚨

The flag doesn’t belong to Donald Trump. It belongs to us. We’re not watching history happen. We’re making it.

On June 14th, we’re showing up everywhere he isn’t—to say no thrones, no crowns, no kings. Check out nokings.org for more information.

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.

Please join us after the No Kings march for the 34th annual Santa Cruz Juneteenth celebration. There will be a procession from City Hall to London Nelson at noon.

Santa Cruz Juneteenth celebrates Black Liberation and Freedom for our  34th year at Laurel Park behind the historic London Nelson Community Center in downtown Santa Cruz, 12 - 5pm.

Our theme this year is: Body, Mind and Soul.

Join us for Music, Dance, Poetry from the Diaspora, nourishing soul food, craft booths, help create the Ancestors Altar. Move your body with our Moments of Movements instructors and dance to the park in our 2nd Line Sidewalk Parade with a live brass and drum band.

Always FREE, there's plenty of activities for children too, including the sack race and the basketball clinic.
