Stop sexual violence – from the frat house to the White House.
Join fellow demonstrators Thursday, Oct. 8 at 5:00 pm at the corner of Ocean and Water Streets for a National Day of Action to Stop Sexual Violence and to stand for girls, women, and all survivors.
We will line up along both sides of Ocean Street. Bring a sign if you can. We will also have some "do not rape" signs available to hang on your body.
Girls, women, survivors, and allies are coming together and rising up to say NO MORE. We refuse to allow sexual and gender-based violence to be normalized, excused, and supported by our government, businesses, universities, and institutions. We, women, girls, and LGBTQIA+ youth deserve to live with safety and dignity, free from violence and the threat of violence.
From the frat house to the White House, sexual violence is never acceptable and survivors cannot continue to go unheard.
We deserve safety, justice, healing, prevention, and recovery. We deserve a world free from sexual violence.
