Join us on October 17 as we come together for No Kings: Vote Early to get out the early vote and say it loud:
NO THRONES. NO CROWNS. NO KINGS.
And join us from now until the mid-terms to help get out the early vote and protect our elections!
On October 17:
• We will rally briefly on the courthouse steps (701 Ocean Street), provide opportunities for all No Kings participants to sign up to defend this election, and drop our ballots in the County’s secure ballot drop box in a joyful celebration of voting rights!
• We will then fire up our voter outreach by lining Ocean Street with signs, music, giant puppets, and artwork. Bring signs that encourage early voting, standing up for democracy, and voter participation.
NOW is the time for each of us to do what we can to get out the vote, encourage people to vote early, and protect this election from sabotage by the Trump regime.
The focus of No Kings: Vote Early is motivating people to cast their ballots before Election Day. That means that No Kings: Vote Early starts on the day ballots are mailed to registered voters – October 5 in California – and continues through Election Day.
ISCC is also organizing events to encourage early voting starting the first week of October. Check our website, social media or newsletter for updates!
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
